Religious institutions don't get tax dollars. Period.
Those young conservatives surviving on college campuses, did they grow up in a place where their intellectual life was completely circumscribed by a religious organization? Did they have the opportunity to see William F. Buckley on TV? Yes? Then you are not talking about the same type of community.
