those ETI would leave us in peace.

On the other hand, if a significant percentage of humanity then insisted that they adopt our ways. Assuming we had the ability to press our insistance thru violence or even prostelization, what do you think their reaction would be?

On the gripping hand, (speaking of Moties), if the ETI found that one side or the other could not be contained on our little biosphere, how would they or should they react?
