The conservation of energy principle only works in an infinite universe with no beginning, no end...and no creation.

If we have something from nothing--or conversely--nothing after something, then the conservation of energy principle would be messed up.

So conservation of energy supports the infinite nature of the universe. It's actually quite simple...provided you weren't educated in Kansas or thereabouts.
