re: Thanks for the feedback fellows. I'd like clarification on some points.

Would you please give the scientific explanation to the following questions.

1) What is the composition/structure of energy?
2) What is creativity and creation?
3) Do you consider thoughts as being tangible?

You asked some questions so I'll give my opinion on them.

A) So if God existed and then "created" the universe where was he?

Anywhere he wanted to be ;-) I have been under the impression that when space came into existence then God came into existence at the same time. In other words God is the intelligence and space is infinite, therefore God is the Infinite Intelligence that causes all forms of space, matter, and motion combinations to come into existence. In other words the Infinite Intelligence made it possible for us to have intelligence. But then what is intelligence and does anyone of us really posses it.

B) In a void?

The word "void" has a very specific meaning that is explained in the Bible.
(Gen. 1:1-2).
<quote>1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. </quote>

My interpretation.
1 In the beginning of the universe God created space and mass.
2 And the mass was motionless and evenly distributed throughout the universe, this steady state condition is known as void. And the Spirit of God caused the movement of mass in the space.
If you read further (Gen. 1: 6-8) you will find that the "firmament" is the space-time continuum that Einstein talks about in his theories.

C) How long was he there?

God (Infinite Intelligence) has been around as long as space has been around.

D) Is there anything else God did?

God created the potential for everything and anything to exist.

"You're mixing theology and science."

It has been said that science is the search for the truth, I figure that if there is truth in the religious books then why should they not be used in the scientific quest for the truth.
