It's no wonder that a couple of years ago, when I was just the one moderator, my head exploded. After I was released from the "hospital" and certified relatively harmless, the community graciously elected six real moderators to take over, leaving me just Flame to "moderate" (an inside joke, since the definition of Flame is that it's not moderated), and the Community board where people could register complaints ("cleanup on aisle 7"), keep an eye on me, and generally keep my raging ego in check.
He even spelt my name wrong! It's Shepherd, an eerie foreshadowing of the burden I bear trying to herd these cats. I...I...uh...that is..well...oh hell, I'd better go take my meds now. More later, when the drugs kick in.
