The point I've been trying to make, and failing miserably, is that the world was not born in 2001.
I have asked people to examine the world today had we gone back and taken the foreign policy positions the liberals have advocated for almost a generation, and I've gotten no rational response.
It goes without saying that trying to examine alternative roads for just the post-911 period have had similar results.
