Perhaps you're asking the wrong question
You're demanding that people choose an ideology, when perhaps the problem is with ideology itself. That's another angle on what I've been trying to say: The way out of our problems isn't through oscillating between ideologies, it's through rejection of ideology and a resolute focus on the job before us.
