Some examples
Venus is a bright point of light and was named after the goddess of love and beauty....but when we knew more, it became hell and there are no plans to send humans on its surface.
Galaxies are beautiful but if we can see its stars, it's because they're very energetic and far too dangerous from close by.
Supernovae bring death and destruction but also enable birth of new stars with planets.
What we think of all those things depends on all kinds of cultural factors, human factors, but the universe doesn't care about them.
