The debate over Obama's words seems *vastly* overblown to me. I've lived in a small midwest town for the better part of a decade and frankly, I didn't so much as bat an eye over this.

Obama was dealing with generalities, something we all do, presidential candidate or not. I knew when I heard him that he he didn't intend for his words to apply to every man, woman or child in a rural setting. But to anyone who's lived in Small Town, USA, you know there's some truth to what he said.
