Without meeting people, without working with people, you folks sit around and tell yourselves that stuff over and over until you accept it as true. Sitting in your little enclaves, listening to nothing but Rush and his ilk, blogging with others who do nothing but listen to Rush and his ilk, and you have a self-referenced belief system immune to reality.
Which is sad. No sense even trying to explain that some people simply don't have a chance. Take a little kid living in a ghetto who's mother is gone a lot, somewhere, and who's dad is in the slam. When dad's out the kid gets beaten. Tell that kid to suck it up, go to school and make something of himself. And when he had kids tell them that, too.
