When do folks realize government and the cult of personality does not really provide a panacea to their ills?
When does one stop wasting effort wishing for someone else to make it better and simply follow a phliosophy of self-sufficience in all aspects?
Looking out for one's own and others welfare is the job of people.
Government creates no wealth. Possesses constantly morphing morality based upon those who participate in its various branches and structure. Expecting government to help those in need or bring about prosperity is completely misdirected and only fits in with expectations of government which socialists like FDR and later put forth.
Forcing any state of comparative equality on others, regardless of the desired outcome, is actually quite immoral. The governments that do so are conceived, as often as not, out of well meaning ignorance.
