Nope. Same one you do.

I seriously doubt that everyone you know is living paycheck to paycheck, at least no more than many people have been for generations.

I have to assume again that your ability to read the life story of everyone around you is infallible. I personally have no frigging idea of what even my neighbors are doing, never mind everyone I see in town.

I didn't say people weren't scared. There's a reason for that--there are other people who want them scared. Sorry, but for the most part they ARE being "conned by propaganda." Scared people don't invest, don't hire, don't take financial risks, don't do the things that help make economies grow. This isn't helpful to an economy.

But scared people also tend to vote for someone who will promise to take care of them. In return for their compliance, of course.

The economic numbers are what they are. I compare them to the numbers from other periods on our history, which also are what they are. I'm not seeing doom.

The unemployment rate where you live is 4.8 percent, which is actually 7 points better than my county. The rate in your state is 5.5 percent, and before May, it hadn't broken 5 percent since 2003. The number of married couples where both people work has been growing slowly and steadily since the 60s. It's flattened out since the 90s, and the number is even dropping now.

For God's sake, turn off the damn TV.
