FYI - our Iraq presence is what's keeping gas prices from having already reached 7.00 a gallon. Our pressure on the Saudis may bring the price back down to 3 something by August.

That is absolute bullshit. Iraq supplies only a drop of the oil we consume. Again- if this was the case, why didn't US Gas spike upwards by $3-4 when we invaded and all of Iraq was offline for months? Iraqi Oil is mainly shipeed to and consumed in Europe and Asia- they didn't even see an affect. It also completely ignores the fact that oil is no gas, and the price of gas is dependent on a lot more than just the price of the feedstock.

Your only argument here is an assertion- that it would be $7/gallon. And anyone can assert anything with similar merit in truth. That there is a teapot, for example, buried under the lunar dust on the darkside of the moon, is just as likely to be true in the absence of reason or evidence for having made the claim.
