Xenophobia fatigue.
TB, I suspect some will never have any problems finding enemies with ideologies which demand immdiate extermination. This, of course, is not the same thing as saying no hostile ideology is a threat to us or requires no vigilance and caution, not to mention occasional vigorous action; but I feel that distinction is too subtle for the true ideologue.
I think we are about to find out that competing economic interests will give us all the opportunities for conflict we will ever need.
