I do not know the nature or legitimacy of the legal and historical claims and precedents. I do know that China used military force to invade Tibet, has continued to use military force to suppress opposition, and that the Tibetan people do not want them there. Tibet was invaded because China sought a buffer state between herself and and her military rival India. China has since moved in large numbers of ethnic Chinese into the country and made determined efforts to undermine the local culture. China invaded another state for geopolitical and strategic reasons. The people resisted and continue to resist. That is aggression.
