Not to cramp your theory or anything, but you might have noticed that the Soviet Union isn't really doing a lot of expanding lately.

On a similar news front, I understand the Pacific Islands aren't falling to the Japanese either, which apparently shows that WWII was a waste of time.

So if your views were in line with that laundry list of mine, why did you get so huffy about it?

Through the last twenty years of the Cold War, the entire Democratic Party policy was pretty much what the baseline is now, which is the theory that you can end up on good terms with any adversary if you just fellate them hard enough.

If the Democrats had been in power in the 80s, or if the Democrats of the 60s thought like the Democrats of recent years, the Soviet Union would run half the planet right now.
