It might be comforting for you to imagine I'm some kind of mindless sock puppet, simply echoing what's in the papers I don't read, and the television I don't watch. It's certainly easier than marshalling any kind of coherent or real argument against the facts.

This is not about facts. Asserting that things really aren't so bad as the market steps back to 1999, as Freddie and Fannie wobble at the brink... The signs are everywhere. But just as back in 2002,2003,2004....2007- you stand around and assert that the problem is not with whats being reported by other people just as intelligent and well read as you, but with the people reporting it.

And just as before, things pan out exactly the way those people who you wrote off saod it would.

And just as before you refuse to get a clue.

That, my dear old pen pal, is why people here have come to see you as that 'sock puppet'.
