No, I don't expect the government to solve all my problems. But I get pretty steamed when it tells me I don't have any and I'm a silly gurly man because I think I do. You're right, this is all about who's hands are on the steering wheel, and it's about time we changed drivers, because the gang in charge now does not give a fig about the passengers. As far as unemployment and numbers in South Florida are concerned, while you're digging around looking for nuggets to support your case, perhaps you can tell me why in 2007 the population of Broward County dropped for the first time in history, in spite of massive immigration from South America and the Caribbean basin. Anyone who can is getting out, and the retirees aren't coming in to take up the slack. And more people would leave if they could sell their house, myself included. All those jobs we have down here are shit jobs, and only immigrants can afford to take them. No wonder the business community and their friends love the situation and want to keep it just as it is.

And you're right, MSNBC and the NYT are not a conspiracy. (" 1. An agreement to perform together an illegal, treacherous, or evil act."). Maybe they want elected who I want elected. Well what's wrong with that? As far as I'm concerned, they're doing their job just fine.
