Not at all. I think it is fairly clear to anyone who has followed my posts here that my views on public policy and cultural issues are dispersed sufficiently along the political spectrum to demonstrate they are driven neither by adherence to ideology nor a need to contradict my opponents at all costs.
And not to cramp your theory or anything, but you might have noticed that though Communism is finished as a world threat, our problems abroad still do not seem to be getting any less frequent or easier to deal with. Maybe, just maybe, the conflicts between nations and social classes are due more to competing economic interests than they are to their ideological preferences.
