Anyway, what do you plan to DO about it?
I'm a contractor, and feast and famine are the norm. My wife has a good steady job, but her health may be an issue someday.
I'm trying to get into writing, an occupation that makes few people rich, but might be a living if I can manage it. The advantage being that I can work from home, and do it until I keel over.
I've seen some of your writing, both here and elsewhere, and if you aren't already shopping at least three books to publishers, why the heck aren't you? What have you got to lose?
For way too many people the only solution they see to their economic problems seems to be to stick a new god in the temple in Washington, and hope he'll crap some gold on everybody.
