YOU are one to talk about historic ignorance.
Because you blithely ignore some basic realities that have happened these past 35 years, since you were born. The roots of this cancer started back during the 70's and possibly sooner. It just took awhile for the cancer in this country to grow.

If you think we're headed down the toilet, you think it might have something to do with your Man of the Hour, President Bush and the unwise decisions he made as President?

We WERE a democracy before the fixed elections and the torture memo, the unwarranted and illegal war against another sovereign country, massive spying on all Americans, threats, intimidation, change of laws, shredding of the Constitution, massive cronyism and lawless price gouging at the pump and at the State Dept., no-bid war reconstruction contracts, ad nauseum....
