I do not know the answer to your question but in my opinion, Boston's Cardinal Law has served as a facilitator for such perverts. He transfered these guys from parish to parish as complaints arose. He should take responsibility, resign and let his successor clean up this mess. For too long, pedophiles have found the church a convenient place to hide.
This is not England, where this stuff has historically flourished in all boys schools.
