that my name never has been nor ever will be Lawrence. It says "Larry" on my birth certificate. It's bad enough to go through like with the same name as one of the "3 Stooges" (even if he was the funniest one) without making it worse with "Lawrence." Look at how us Larrys are portrayed in literature or movies and you'll see us as some pretty stupid or reprehensible creatures. It's a touchy subject.

Does it ever bother you that when a lot of people hear the name "Mary Anne", they think of "Gilligan's Island"? Probably not. "Mary Anne" was the cute girl next door. Ginger was a high maintenance bimbo.

Of course, that show apparently encouraged some people with too much time on their hands to put their 2 cents worth. I know having sinus problems sucks but lighten up.
