One of my nieces married a Mormon (LDS)
and converted to the religion. Some people claim LDS is a cult but I really wonder if they're just jealous of LDS growth. In the beginning, most religions would qualify as a cult.
My niece's husband is a good man. He's a hard worker who provides for his family. He's sober, loving, and a terrific father. We get along quite well.
The sole bone of contention was their wedding. They were married in an LDS church, so my brother and sister-in-law weren't allowed to attend the wedding. That was their only child, so not being allowed to attend the wedding caused some ill feelings for a while. They love their son-in-law and have apparently gotten over it by now.
