Perspectives...

Historically, 'virgins' were made 'ready for marriage by God' and the priest was acting 'in proxy' for God. So the priests never married - but prepared all the virgins for marriage.

All the girls who became pregnant were shuttled over to the women's quarters.

The church, by its distorted views of 'repentance' invite much 'sinful' behavior and religionists are much like Clinton was, (i.e. sin Monday through Saturday then confess & repent on Sunday) in otherwards 'serial sinners' whose religion almost encourages sinning by offering the escape mechanism and false whitewashing of repentance.

Historically, LOTs of priests and teachers have been perverted or have perverted tendencies. (although it is not PC to label anything perverted anymore).

It is easy to see that any profession offering wide access to young children is going to be attractive to these folks.

The sad thing is, from my perspective I see the endless chain of abuse and it gets even sadder when you see that these children themselves are likely to abuse others in the future (and often HAVE abused others in past previous lives)

Breaking the chain requires more than 'religion' can offer - it requires a scientific understanding of energy and the regenerative principles which govern past/present/future.

'Repentance' and 'asking forgiveness' is totally ineffectual - these folks have to make 'amends' (really balancing existing structures) by positive ACTIONS and will be put into environments to test their resolve.

Yes, it may be that now some of the best teachers have long ago (in some past lives) been deviants and have learned the error of their actions and go that extra mile for kids and are extra-protective - because they have evolved and understand more of the negative ramifications of abuse - and still have the need to balance lingering actions of their past.

Best wishes,
