Being wrong is not lieing. Being wrong in a belief that most reasonable agreed with is not even being a fool. Being a fool is a reason to vote someone out, but since the left can't make that case since many were involved. Instead, they try to distort a mistake into a lie. I did not directly call you a liar or ignorant, but you seem to be doing your best to convince me you are. The statement you quoted was sincere commentary that anyone who makes the statement I listed was either a liar or ignorant. You seem to be supporting the statement on WMD 100%.
Let me be clear on something
I believe fears of WMD in the hands of terrorists percipitated action. However it was clear that we could not be 100% certain that he had WMD or that he would give them to terrorists. Those that supported the war simply believed that the odds for this were too high to repeat Clinton's mistake of under responding to the Al-quida threat. As a result of that uncertainty other issues which we knew to be true beyond a shadow of a doubt which were also reasons to remove Saddam were given as justification both by Bush and members of this board PRIOR to the war. It was a case of less dire, but more certain issues butressing the more dire but less certain one. Since most of those supporting the war engaged in this type of justification we know well how full of crap anyone is who claims WMD were the only justification. Perhaps these comments will remedy which if any of the two ailments assails you.
