re: "Obviously enormous amounts of information said by the Bush administration weren't true"

Obviously, you missed Powells address to the UN. Seems to me that you should watch those media sources you so malign!

Or if you want to not discuss the transript of that little episode, how about where Cheney said Saddom was possibly 6 mos away from a nuke?

Or how about when Rumsfeld said WMD stockpiles were just outside of Tikriti?

I'm prety sure this argument is futile. Based off of what I have seen of your posts, I'm sure you have some mind boggling reason for why day means night and up means down. But when I listen to these statements and then see not even TRACES of WMD after a year of occupation, at least my mind tends to doubt that the statements had any veracity in them. Intentional or not is another question- obviously the statements were false (or let me put it this way, if we are going to NOT judge those statements as False, then True/False has no meaning and everything is some sort of touchy-feely relative thing, at which point I'm done with this discussion)

Let me put it this way. If a child made statements that were so obviously false and so very divergent from the blatant and undeniable truth, any sane parent would and should scold that child for lying. Why should we not at least question, then, a sitting president with all the intelligence resources of the US?
