I have backed myself into no such corner. MY ARGUMENT (are you deaf, do I nead to scream for you?) is that Iraq was NOT (N-O-T) a threat to the US sufficient to justify war. My further claim is that it was NOT (N-O-T) in possession of the levels of WMD claimed, nor that it had any ties to Usama Bin Laden.
There is also a HUGE gulf between what was claimed, in general, about Iraq (and the necessity for this war) and what the truth has turned out to be.
You, on the other hand, have displayed no intellectual consistency, have changed you position on the reason for this war so many times as that it is no longer funny, and have demonstrated only that you will hop from justification to justification for this war to the end of time.
You have sold yourself out to buy a position that you will never concede. You will never have to concese it because it is based up on uprovables such as 'maybe' and 'could' pose a threat, and we can't PROVE that he didn't pose a threat, and also upon selectively laid moral arguments (saddam is a tyrant and we have to kill tyrants, except for the ones that I studiusly ignorte that we support).
Sorry, Tom, but this is no longer worth my time, nor worth the time of anyone who thinks consistency and reason has merit in political ideology.
