this Is the best attempt at affirmative evidence (actually, the only) that I have seen so far. Thanks! If they would try to produce something with those trailors, and succeed, I'd be willing to sign on the dotted line that these were WMD production facilities. Heck, I'd even be willing to say that our guys could make limited repairs and fill in plausible 'missing' equipment. I'd even sign off if they found just ONE confirmed trace of WMD in the parts per billion, or even a single anthrax spore.
Its hard to balance these claims, though, against other claims about the equipment. In leiu of proof-of-pudding (using them to produce WMD, or finding traces of WMD on them), this stuff sort of falls flat against the expert testimony I've read that these things couldn't ferment near-beer, buch less biotoxin... and cound not even keep an active anthrax culture alive, much less growing.
And I'm not sure what the CIAs recent track record about WMD says about why I should believe the CIA over the state department, experts in the field, and other intelligence services.
In the end, the lack of any evidence (traces of WMD) that they HAD been used blows away any attempt at claiming that they were part of a WMD manufacturing system that was (in part) cause for this war. Let me put it this way: A smoking gun requires that the gun have been fired at least once.
Its not enough to disprove other uses for them, either. Its the UFO razor again.
