Current Events » in reply to "Six months." Speaking of fraudulent statements

Selective calculations

this war started in March, if I recall. Its almost January. Thats hardly 6 months. Thats nearly a year. We owned large tracts of Iraq from the day we invaded. If you want to split semantic hairs, then don't bother me. In any case, 8 months, 10 months or a year, no matter how you count- my point remains the same. Nothing is there that was claimed to be there.

Tom wrote: The "six months to a nuclear weapon" bit is just one of these. Clipped arefully off this statement is the qualifier, "given access to weapons grade material."

But then Tom wrote: "With the qualifier, this statement is in fact true, and would be true for almost any technologically-capable nation"

I saw the original interview- on CNN I think. So am I lying or not? Post your source to the original interview if you want to claim malice on my part. Go ahead, Tom. Make my day.

And you are fabricating out of wholecloth if you think that I am attributing what Kay said recently to what Cheney said before the war.

You seem to imply that my post was dishonest and decietful (par for the course) but Don't have a case to make that it is. This is the kind of crap I mean.

As to the rest of it:

Show me one active nuclear program, one active chem program, one active bio program, one barrel of weaponized biochem, on partially assembled nuke.

Where, Tom? Where is it? And if the disparity between claim and fact is THIS large, how do you account for it? Why is it not appropriate to at least investicate the possibility that this goes beyond ineptitude and into intentional malfeasance?
