When Tom and I originally debated the trailor issue, I posted links to state department releases, monsanto and Brit Intel. Its not my fault that Tom over-looked them, and I have every right to challenge such a grandiose claim that hes 'the only person who looked into the matter'. Yeah. Right. And I invented logic.
If you have any link directly to Marconi on the subject of these particular trailers, I would dearly love to see it. I spent two days trying to dig out that information from their company.
The only mention of the Marconi trailers in connection with the Iraq trailers is in the Observer article, which was then spread across the planet by the Left. Every link I have found on this subject goes straight back to that single paragraph at the end of that article.
The only previous mention of the trailers shipped to Iraq was in connection with a <qa href="http://www.guardian.co.uk/international/story/0,3604,904493,00.html">scandal on the subject during the Thatcher administration.
Obviously, the Observer dug this up and leaped to a conclusion. Now it's become gospel.
