"cut-and-run" is nothing BUT jingoism
If you had an honest bone in your body you could admit that that's what some Democrats want and also what the terrorists want.
As evidenced by his post below, I'm sure Art wishes you'd get a grip and STFU, and so do I. But that doesn't mean we're in cahoots. Implying conspiracy is pure Winger thinking. As is calling people liars for disagreeing with you. Multiply your attitudes by several million, and you can see why decent people are vastly relieved that RightWingers have been dislodged from power. Not even terrorism is as dangerous to America as Winger thinking. With rationality we'll prevail; without it, we're doomed.
I stand by my second paragraph. The hostile climate of the last six years has deliberately and violently suppressed all possibility of thinking up better ways, by burying alternative proposals under a toxic barrage of "defeatism!", "anti-Americanism!', "cut-and-run!", and of course the 50-megaton nuke "treason!". Horse before the cart: The corpse of RightWinger "thought" had to be removed from the halls of power to clear the way for real thinking.
Trying to blame everything on Clinton to make Bush look good by comparison is just too stupid to address.
