Remember back in the day, when We, the nebulous left, claimed that by sheer common sense alone, our presence in Iraq would be creating more terrorists and insurgents?
"Pah!" you said, "show me proof".
(Unfortunatley when the CIA came to the same conclusion recently, you said "Hey! Look over there!")
Go on, show proof.
As for, "--I have already pointed out that the media and the Left were pushing for failure at the very beginnings of the war,", I have already pointed out that the media, (and for that matter, a notable number of left leaning thinkers and commentators and pols) were endorsing and pushing for the war.
That simple little fact never seems to register with you.
