Just what is your commitment to all these wars you seem to believe need fighting? What sacrifices have you personally made to make our job easier with all these military excursions that need more men and more blood? Are you sending your children or, if you're too young for those, yourself? Do you drive a high mileage vehicle to help limit our dependence on foreign oil? Are you advocating higher taxes or elimination of tax shelters to help with armaments and armor for the troops?
Have you ceased doing business with companies that hire illegal immigrants so that it's easier to seal our borders? Have you written letters to your Congressmen urging them to stop pork-barrel spending during a time when our nation is at war and urged them to create legislation to ensure that companies don't profit excessively from our plight?
I'm sure I can answer most of those questions for you because your posts have all had that specter of Bush administration talking points and his wars have all been about convenience and profit for the well-off people not directly fighting them. Anyone still under the illusion that the Iraq war was about fighting terrorism is seriously misguided and intensely naive.
You have every right to post your drivel here but just know that it's going to come back at you hard and we'll require you to back up your claims with some credibility. So far you have none.

- Your good news was welcome but you never acknowledged the bad.
- Is it your contention that the good news is more newsworthy than the obvious carnage?
- I would have settled for "as newsworthy."
- Only hear what you want to hear and disregard the rest, hmm-hmm-mmmm

- Yeah right
- I would have settled for "as newsworthy."
- Anyone want to bet that within 2 months the right will be blaming our failure in Iraq on the liberals?
- Watch TV
- Really its not a failure...
- They started blaming the left way before the election.
- A lot of that blame will have been honestly earned.
