Tried to get a Navy ROTC scholorship, but dad refused to take me to detroit for the testing.

Considered joining the Airforce as a environmental officer, but felt family needed a better carreer.

Will not refuse to let my sons or daughters join the military like my dad did.

All that you wouldn't have known on the other hand:

high mileage - yes and no. I drive the old van while those who drive more in my family drive a honda accord an a new prius. Since the van is about to be paid off and we have less need for it I will be purchasing a second prius or something similar as soon as I can afford to.

Yes I want Bush's tax cuts repealed other than those aimed at the middle and lower classes. I've had many battles with Tom over this issue. Along with the general topic of how crapy Bush's economic policies have been.
