You have to remember, I'm grading on the curve around here. ;)

It isn't a matter of being Mr. Spock, of being any smarter than anyone else, or of ignoring emotional responses. It is a matter of trying to be sure that, all else being equal, "facts, reason and commonsense" carry the most weight when you make decisions.

You make a very long list of the rotten things that happen to people when they don't do this, and you still miss my point?
