Do you think Bill Clinton should have been convicted of his "process crime?" Why or why not?

Clinton committed far more perjury and obstruction offenses than Libby ever did, did so more deliberately, and from a position of far more authority. Yet liberals, including those on this board, furiously defended him from all quarters, and attacked the prosecutor viciously. The name Ken Starr can still make blood spew from the eyes of many liberals.

The Left wanted Libby in jail not because they think perjury is a crime that must always be punished--obviously that position is flexible for most of them--but because they couldn't get their dream targets Rove and Cheney in there. You would have to have spent time on liberal websites months ago, when the sole indictment came out against Libby, to know what a first-class case of political blue balls looks like.
