Let me make this clear--

I was disgusted by the dog-and-pony show of the investigation. That being said, I didn't care what happened to Libby one way or the other. I don't really care that his sentence has been commuted either--in the list of things politicians have done over the past thirty years it comes in pretty damn low on the moral depravity list.

London is under attack from disturbing sources, which may be part of a larger pattern worldwide. There are things of great importance happening in Iraq and elsewhere. We are approaching what is going to be one of the most remarkable elections ever, in which I suspect independents may play a major role.

And yet the Democratic Party is still almost exclusively obsessed with the destruction of George W. Bush. Democratic politicians right now are probably accounting for at least half the bloody foam.
