They should do away with presidential pardons.

I do not know all the facts of this case, but if I understand it right, Libby was found guilty of perjury. And for that, I think he should do his time. I donâ€™t think he should have been pardoned. I am generally opposed to presidential pardons and think they should loses the right to do so. I think pardons should be like passing a law and go through all three branches first.

And I have stated here before that if he was guilty of outing a CIA spy, he should be treated as a traitor. So far I have not seen enough evidence either way to say he did or did not do this. I generally do not trust lawyers on either side of cases to state the truth. Theyâ€™ll do whatever to win their case.

But he was found guilty of perjury and he should serve his time.
