I'm operating on a bit higher level of abstraction than you give me credit for. Read the post again. Bringing Clinton into this was not intended to excuse or justify any illegal actions, but to point out the rank hypocrisy of many Democrats in their responses to both situations.

A number of blogs are having a lot of fun now pulling up approving NYT articles and statements from Democratic politicians on Clinton's pardons of the FALN people and others.

You say you think Sandy Berger should be in jail? I don't recall your indignation here when he got off, but that doesn't mean you didn't express it. I don't have a perfect memory. Even so, believe me, that view among liberals is as rare as hen's teeth.

You accuse me of being irrational? Only one of us is pounding the keyboard bloody and using up three weeks worth of all capitals in his posts.
