The investigation was a charade from the beginning. Libby was seized on for an unrelated charge when nothing could be found on the actual targets of the investigation, and after a conviction they threw the book at Libby out of fury more than anything else.

Yup the fact that he committed AN ACTUAL CRIME THAT WAS PROVEN had nothing to do with it, did it....?

Yup, can you find one SINGLE case where I have done this? See, Tom, What you are doing is building a 'strawman argument'- where you, when faced with the fact you cant defend your position, you make up an alternate reality where you claim, and lie, that the opposing position is saying something you feel you can confront with 'reason'.... but sorry, buddy- that doesnt work here- deal with the facts of of my post or shut up- DONT play the political Johannes with me....
