Tom's "Libertarian compassionless drivel "
Tom cares for his family. And that's about it.
He has insulated himself from the world in some self-imposed idealogical utopia.
He PRIDES himself on his own vision of the world, and he draws fanatical conclusions like the world Ayn Rand created with her books. Back in the 60's, I read her stuff too. A friend of mine introduced me to it, and he saw it as a new god, a new religion. He was almost manic about it. I wonder if he is on the same level as Tom is these days, or if he has found.......compassion.
I often wonder if Tom is lost back there somewhere.
