the fact you choose to ignore.....
The US Govt spends more as % of GDP than any other country. That covers Medicare, Medicaid, VA etc but that expense is blasted out of the water by tax breaks for employers who provide healthcare options. On top of that we, the public, also pay a hefty monthly premium.
But then you knew all that since you're so well read and all - and the fact I've posted this about 5 times for you with little comment from you.
this system is broken, and it would not break the bank to fix it.
