Here is where you are wrong....

From the document you linked to:

139 hydrogen fueling stations were listed worldwide.

49 electrolyzer-based hydrogen fueling stations were listed. Only a few mentioned their capacity, totalling 169 vehicles per day.

33 fossil fuel-based hydrogen fueling stations were listed. Only a few mentioned their capacity, totalling 174 vehicles per day.

57 hydrogen fueling stations listed did not say where the hydrogen comes from, electrolyzer or fossil fuels.

101 hydrogen fueling stations listed did not say how many vehicles they could refuel per day.

Many were demonstration plants, or owned by government agencies.

Your worldwide hydrogen infrastructure didn't impress me. By Nov 2006 the cumulative annual ethanol production in the United States was over 104 million barrels. There are more than 1000 refueling stations providing E85 located across the US. In 1994 there were over 146,000 vehicles in the US fuelled mainly with E85 and that number was growing at 79 percent annually.

Granted, ethanol barely puts a dent in the fuel demand by the transportation sector, but it does a hell of a lot better than hydrogen.
