re: My My. It just doesn't get any better

I figured it. You are not an engineer. Even worst, you are a philosopher! No wonder you buy Zubrin’s arguments, because he dazzles you with his numbers and words. You love the structure of his arguments, not how they mislead the public on the safety of hydrogen. It also why you are good at twisting phases into something other then what the writer means as with the Newcomb article I posted as a link.

Your comment about Wind Energy is funny given its explosive expansion as an alternative energy source, makes far more viable then solar. Here is a site with some facts for you to chew on philosopher.

And no its not your grand pappy’s farm windmills I am talking about, its commercial scale ones which would be one source of non-carbon based energy for HTs. Hydropower produces a lot of electricity and it doesn’t use hydrocarbons, neither does, tidal power, ocean thermal, geothermal. The beauty of HT transformers is all of these sources could be used, along with good old reliable nuclear power (I am glad you are for it).

And if you are just worried about the Saudi’s cutting the oil off and not the environment there is always coal which we have a lot of. And I understand its possible to clean up the waste products, including C)2 with some of the new technology under development.

Yes it’s a waste of time to debate with philosophers as they only wish to twist debate away form the topic at hand, Zubrin’s irrational hatred/fear of hydrogen as an energy source, then seek true enlightenment.

As for the H-Racer, well you seemed to miss the point. If hydrogen is SO dangerous as Zubrin thinks why would anyone make a hydrogen powered toy for kids to play with??? Ask yourself that question and maybe you will see the point of my argument even though its constructed by a poor dumb engineer and not a ever so wise philosopher Yeti.
