I'm sure the children of Hamburg and Berlin had the same look on their faces too.
And it's a pity they were caught in the bombing, but it had to be done in order to lessen the casualties on our side. The kids in the pic above weren't hit with napalm, the fact that they still have their hair, skin, and clothing prove it.
