See above. Bullshit again. And Blanco wrote BEFORE the storm hit asking for a full federal response- that's a fact.

Yes, Blanco wrote to Bush on the 27th and Bush responded on the 27th declaring a Federal state of emergency in Louisiana and FEMA acted, but she did not ask for Federal troops to help in the rescue until 10am 0n 8/31.

Every request Blanco made the Federal government met the same day and things were put into action the same day. Not fast enough for everybody but it did happen.

If Blanco would have asked for troops sooner things would have turned out for the better.
