First you say "Wasn't widely reported" before september 1st. I call Bullshit and baxck it up- I go find hundreds of links to hundreds of news stories posted from the 27th through the 30th directly referencing the NOLA convention center. You then make the round-about claim that they all had nothing to do with people at the convention center ('read the excerpts! ' you say). So I spend five minuts and pull a small sample of them- all reporting on the convention center being a site for refugees.
What do you want? A Major Motion Picture? The proverbial Film at 11??

All of this is something of a red herring in any case- The point is that FEMA shouldn't need a Media firestorm to 'Find the Emergency', given that it is the FEDERAL Emergency MANAGEMENT Agency. Its their JOB- and if they can't get it done- they messed up.
You are flatly wrong to say it wasn't 'widely reported'- I brought sources to the table. You were wrong to infer that the links were irrelevant, I brought sources to the table. You are now trying to say there is some sort of mushy subjective 'know-it-when-I-see-it' acid test that has to be passed.
This is Iraq all over again. An endless sea of bullshit. I beat you on the facts, and you roll out the qualitative subjective mush. An Intellectual 'Scortched Earth' tactic. Can't win on truth? Make it irrelevant. Its not that there was no coverage, you say, just not the right flavor of coverage.

Not only are you done here, but you have backed this argument into a marsh of unreason from which no truth can escape. You can't lose, but nobody will win- thus the problems won't be fixed and we'll be screwed again in another few years when another screw-up comes down the pike.
