Don't take me for some sort of sucker, Tom. Yes, the original story is that the levees were even worse than believed. However, the point that the BLOG made was a spin over that- that their premature failure somehow excuses not being prepared for their widely predicted failure in the face of a Cat 3+ storm. Everyone knew that was the predicted threshold, and everyone knew Katrina was coming in at category 4 or 5. Therefore any claim that 'nobody thought the levees would fail' is BS, no matter how much perfume you pour on it.
