If the US is now so awful..why live here?

Why not go back to Canada and the land of the socialists? Why invest in property in US redneck central? What can possibly be the attraction of remaining in such a tyrannical nation where your liberties have been encroached upon by the Patriot Act and where someone like Bush is tapping your phone calls?

If you really can't see the good that the United States does daily all over the world, then I really can't begin to help you understand the role America plays in the scheme of things.

Perspective helps see America clearly. America is a saint among nations. It's the candy store of freebies for the world. It's the selfless protector of other folks freedoms and the humanitarian nation working 24/7 for the entire world.

It's spit upon, peed upon, mocked and criticized by people and nations who are examples of greed, corruption, incompetence, barbarism, selfishness and whose efforts to help humanity are practically nonexistent - much less the glorious radiance emerging forth from the US.
